Nicolas J Capra is a NJ based Director of Photography, Director, Editor, and Photographer. He graduated in 2017 from Montclair State University with a BFA in Filmmaking and works as a freelance DP / Director / Editor, and co-owner Folded Crane Films - an event and commercial video production company.

He shoots mostly Commercial content and Narrative Music Videos, but he’s shot, produced, and has experience with Short Films, Corporate Videos, Web-Series, Experimental, Documentary, and Feature Films.

His most recent commercial was picked up by Samsung Electronics for worldwide distribution, and he's had the pleasure of shooting numerous award winning short films. He worked as the DP for his first indie feature film “Happy Yummy Chicken” (2015), working along stars Taryn Manning, Emma Myles, and Dianne Guerrero from Netflix's Orange is the New Black, as well as Susan Douglas. The most recent feature film he shot, titled “Shark River” is entering the festival circuit as of 2022.
